Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Adjunct Faculty member specializing in Accounting to join our vibrant academic community. In this role, you will deliver engaging, comprehensive instruction in accounting principles, financial analysis, and business management to diverse student populations. Your expertise will help foster a stimulating learning environment that inspires students to excel academically and develop practical skills applicable in real-world settings. Duties Prepare and deliver compelling lectures on accounting topics, including financial accounting and managerial accounting. Develop and update curriculum materials aligned with current industry standards and educational best practices Facilitate classroom discussions, group projects, and case studies to enhance student engagement and understanding of complex financial concepts. Assess student performance through assignments, exams, presentations, and participation, providing constructive feedback to support their growth. Support students' academic success by providing guidance on research methods, business analysis, public speaking, and effective communication skills. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development initiatives that integrate current trends in social media management, data analytics, and post-production techniques relevant to business education. Stay current with developments in higher education teaching methodologies, accounting software updates, and industry best practices to continuously improve instructional quality. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; a Master's degree or higher is preferred. Proven experience teaching accounting at the university or adult education level with a strong understanding of classroom management techniques. Demonstrated expertise in financial concepts, business management, marketing strategies, and public relations within a higher education context. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex topics through verbal presentation and written materials. Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations while fostering an inclusive learning environment. Excellent organizational skills with experience managing multiple courses or projects simultaneously using project management techniques.

$40.00 per hour
