Because of the temporary nature of these appointments, Casual Hire employees are not eligible for most benefits as provided to regular BOR and Civil Service employees such as paid leave and holidays. Casual Hire appointments may last for up to 89 days for full-time employees and up to one calendar year for part-time employees.

Description of Duties:
Under general supervision provides curriculum development, instructional review, revision and evaluation of the Leeward CC non credit Business programs. Responsibilities include delivering instructions and monitoring the progress and performance of students. Teaching assigned courses, preparing syllabi and course materials related to the discipline including business management, project management and/or leadership development. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business Administration OR Bachelor's degree in business related field and three years of related work experience OR Associates degree and five years of related work experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Three years of direct work experience in business. Experience teaching adults or providing professional development to business professionals. Experience with curriculum development. Experience working in a community college setting. Familiarity with exam preparation for business certifications. Maintains current certifications that include, but are not limited to, Project Management Institute (PMI), International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) and Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
