Job Description:
The Business Administration Department in the W. Fielding Rubel School of Business at Bellarmine University invites applications for a part-time adjunct instructor to teach MBA 608: Applied Innovation during the Fall 2026 semester. This is a 2-credit graduate course delivered in a virtual synchronous format using Microsoft Teams. Class meetings will be held Monday evenings from 6:30?9:00 p.m. Eastern on October 19, November 2, November 16, November 30, and December 7, 2026.
Course Description:
The core theme of this course is the practical application of soft skills in the context of innovation. Success hinges on technical expertise and robust soft skills in today's rapidly evolving and competitive landscape. The course explores how communication, teamwork, creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving foster innovation and organizational success. Students engage in applied learning through case discussions, presentations, simulations, and innovation-focused projects. Visa sponsorship is not provided for this position.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctorate or other terminal degree in business or a related field preferred; candidates with an MBA should possess extensive professional experience in innovation, strategy, entrepreneurship, organizational leadership, or related areas. Strong commitment to excellence in teaching and student engagement. Ability to facilitate discussion-based graduate courses in an online environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate teaching experience. Experience teaching or working in innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership, strategy, organizational development, or related areas. Experience with case-based, experiential, or project-based learning.
