Job Description
Saint Josephs College of Maine is accepting applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty - Business Data Analytics (descriptive and predictive) for SJC Online which has provided online programs since 1976. Faculty will both develop in collaboration with instructional designers create and teach online courses in data analytics at the graduate level.
Recent significant professional, technical, or managerial experience in data analytics; at a minimum, significant experience is interpreted as at least three years of duties and responsibilities. Adjunct faculty are required to be available to students both evenings and weekends to answer emails and provide assistance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge and proficiency in related discipline. Demonstrated interest in mentoring and teaching in related discipline. Engage continually and effectively with students to enhance student learning Ability to identify and intervene with at risk students. Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally. Ability to effectively plan, establish and implement teaching goals and objectives Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
