To Be Determined Job Description High School Teacher - Business Ethics & Law (Grades 9-12). North East Carolina Preparatory School, Inc. Tarboro, NC. Create board-approved lesson plans in Business Law curriculum for High School students (Grades 9-12). Implement instructional plans, deliver engaging lessons that integrate modern business practices and technology into the classroom effectively, and evaluate student performance through various assessment tools. Establish classroom rules, ensuring a safe learning environment, and taking proactive measures to prevent accidents or disruptions. Design educational content aligned with state standards, developing course materials, and collaborating with academic committees for curriculum improvements. Maintain accurate student records, assessing progress, and providing feedback for improvement. Communicate with parents, school stakeholders, and volunteers, participating in school events, and fostering a positive school-community relationship. Teach students the importance of ethical principles and abiding by the law, incorporating real-world case studies and legal scenarios to enhance understanding. Lead hands-on project-based learning activities, including creating and launching small business ventures using tools such as laser cutters, 3D printers, design software and fabrication tools, to guide students through the design, prototyping, and production process as part of their entrepreneurship curriculum. M-F, 7:30am to 4:00pm. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Law, Legal Sciences, or related field. All hires must consent to a background check.
