CORE RESPONSIBILITIES OF ADJUNCT INSTRUCTORS
Monroe University is seeking adjunct instructors in each of the schools and for general education courses. Positions are available for teaching on Monroe's Bronx and New Rochelle campuses and for teaching online. Classes are offered during the day, in the evening, and for the graduate division we offer a hybrid schedule on Saturdays. Adjuncts are responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
A minimum of a master's degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited college or university. Doctoral degree preferred at all levels, and required for teaching at the graduate level. Professional experience related to the field of study College-level teaching experience preferred Experience using a learning management system, such as Blackboard, a plus Specific needs in the areas of:
  • Principles of Management

  • Introduction to Marketing
  • Marketing Strategy (Brand and Product Development)
  • Digital Marketing
  • Social Media Marketing
  • Digital Marketing
  • Esports
  • Sports Management
  • Sports Marketing

  • Onsite and asynchronous teaching opportunities available.
Pay:
$60.00 - $90.00 per hour
