Job Description
College College of Education and Administrative and Technical Sciences Job title Professor/Associate Professor in Business Intelligence Field/ Specialization Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, simulation, Data Mining, Decision Support Systems. Roles and Responsibility 1. Teach and coordinate graduate-level courses in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, and Data Mining. 2. Supervise master's theses and PhD dissertations. 3. Conduct and publish scientific research in the fields of Business Intelligence, advanced analytics, and big data decision support systems. 4. Develop and update academic curricula and programs in line with global advancements in Business Intelligence. 5. Serve on program, department, college, and university committees. 6. Collaborate with faculty members in accreditation and quality assurance activities. 7. Contribute to the establishment of research partnerships with local and international institutions.
Qualifications Minimum R equirements:
- PhD degree from an accredited university in Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- A documented research record with a minimum of 10 published research papers in Q1 or Q2 journals in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
- Proven teaching experience at the graduate level.
- Experience in supervising graduate students.
- Experience in academic program development and accreditation.
- Experience in research collaboration or consultancy with public/private sector and industrial organizations.
Special Skills:
Designing analytical models and dashboards to support decision-making; applying artificial intelligence and advanced analytics techniques in business environments. Preferred qualifications- Practical experience in Business Intelligence projects.
- Strong record of obtaining research grants or funded projects.
- Ability to effectively use educational technologies and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience in blended or online learning environments.
