POSITION OVERVIEW
Pillarman University is recruiting qualified adjunct faculty to teach business and MBA courses across both our undergraduate and graduate programs. We are hiring simultaneously for B.S. core business courses and MBA graduate-level courses, including concentration areas in Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Healthcare Management. Apply in your area of expertise — you do not need to cover multiple subjects. We welcome instructors from academia and experienced business professionals who can bring real-world relevance to our online classrooms. FORMAT Online / Distance Education — Asynchronous with required Synchronous Sessions

Master's in Business or related; J.D. preferred for law Business Analytics & Economics•Min.
Qualification:
Master's in Economics, Analytics, Statistics, or Business Entrepreneurship & Strategy•Min.
Qualification:
Master's in Business; founder/operator experience valued MBA Graduate-Level Courses (Core + Concentrations): MBA Core — Strategy & Leadership•Min.
Qualification:
Ph.D./DBA preferred; Master's + 7 yrs executive exp. considered MBA Core — Finance & Accounting•Min.
Qualification:
Ph.D./DBA or Master's in Finance/Accounting + 5 yrs; CFA or CPA strongly preferred MBA Core — Marketing Analytics•Min.
Qualification:
Ph.D. or Master's in Marketing + 5 yrs; analytics credentials valued MBA Core — Operations & Analytics•Min.
Qualification:
Master's or Ph.D. in Operations, MIS, or Business Analytics MBA Core — Research & Capstone•Min.
Qualification:
Ph.D. in Business, Management, or Social Science; graduate research exp. required MBA Concentration — Marketing•Min.
Qualification:
Master's in Marketing or MBA with marketing specialization MBA Concentration — Finance•Min.
Qualification:
Master's in Finance or MBA; CFA designation strongly preferred MBA Concentration — Healthcare Management•Min.
Qualification:
Master's in Healthcare Administration (MHA), MPH, or MBA + healthcare exp.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver assigned business or MBA courses online via the LMS (Canvas or Moodle) Develop and maintain syllabi with clearly defined student learning outcomes aligned to program objectives Assess and document student performance through rubrics, grade books, and course completion records Submit faculty course assignment documentation and course schedules each academic term Document curriculum development contributions for institutional compliance (CCR §71720) Participate in faculty orientation and periodic professional development sessions
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS B.S.
Business Courses:
Master's degree in Business Administration or the relevant subject area (Marketing, Finance, Accounting, etc.) Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the relevant discipline Ability to teach effectively in a fully online environment Official transcripts and professional credentials required upon hire (CCR §71720) MBA Graduate Courses (additional requirements): Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or D.B.A.) strongly preferred; Master's degree with substantial executive experience considered for select positions Minimum 5-7 years of senior professional or academic experience in the relevant discipline Prior graduate-level teaching experience preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Doctoral degree (Ph.D., D.B.A., or equivalent) in Business Administration or a related field Active professional certifications (CPA, CFA, PMP, PHR/SPHR, or similar) Prior college-level or graduate-level teaching experience, especially in an online format Experience with LMS platforms (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle) Commitment to Pillarman University's faith-based, ethical leadership mission Pillarman University is an equal opportunity employer.
