Posting Details Position Information Job Title Instructor of Management / Strategy Position Number 997438 Department Management & Marketing Salary $65,000 - $75,000 Remote No Job Summary/Description Angelo State University invites applications for a non tenure track faculty position in Management at the Instructor level. This full-time, nine-month position in the Department of Management and Marketing will start in Fall of 2026. Effective teaching, service and commitment to the Department of Marketing and Management, the Norris-Vincent College of Business, and Angelo State University are required. All candidates are expected to maintain a status of either a Scholarly Practitioner (SP) or Instructional Practitioner (IP) in accordance with the Norris-Vincent College of Business Faculty Qualifications Guidelines. Typical Duties/Job Duties The individual hired for this position will be required to fully participate in the activities of the College to include recruitment, student advising and service on committees. The primary teaching assignments for this position will be in management-related courses, including human resource management, organizational behavior, and strategic management. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities A deep knowledge of management and management theories. Dedication to excellence in teaching and willing to offer their courses in in-person, online, and hybrid formats. Dedication to helping ASU students succeed, particularly first-generation college students. Minimum Qualifications Masters degree in business administration ( MBA ) or a related area. If degree is in a related area, the candidate should have substantial work experience in management or scholarly publications in the management area Scholarly Practitioner (SP) or Instructional Practitioner (IP) status at time of appointment Excellent written and oral English communication skills Willingness to teach both traditional face-to-face and online delivery modes Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching at the college or university level. Private industry work experience. A Ph.D. in management or closely related field.
