Position Title Nontenure Faculty Pool - Department of Management Job Posting Number 2026006NTL Job Location Dallas, Houston College/Division McCoy College of Business Department/School Department of Management Position Description The McCoy College of Business Department of Management seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty to teach Management and related courses at Texas State extension campuses. Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester-by-semester basis. In addition to teaching, instructors may be asked to coordinate co-curricular activities (e.g., career fairs, employer engagement activities), provide support for Texas State extension programs (e.g., program promotion), and other duties as assigned. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and departmental need. Successful candidates may teach at a Texas State extension campus or campuses and/or online, depending on the needs of the academic department. Please note that this posting is not intended to convey that such a need currently exists. Required Qualifications Specific educational requirements vary by position, but a minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field is generally required. Preferred Qualifications Previous teaching experience is preferred.
