THE UNIVERSITY OF
VERMONT, Grossman School of Business (GSB) ( www.uvm.edu/business ) invites applications for a full-time position as a Lecturer to teach introductory business courses within the Core curriculum. The lecturer will have responsibilities in teaching foundation courses in Analytics and Management as well as collaborating on and teaching other introductory business courses as needed. Candidates should have a minimum of a graduate degree in business or a graduate degree in a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with undergraduate teaching experience, especially in working with introductory business students, as well as professional business experience. The typical course load is seven sections per academic year and additional service responsibilities (advising, student club oversight, committee membership, etc.). The appointment period begins in August 2026.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
The AACSB-accredited Grossman School of Business cultivates and supports 35 full-time faculty dedicated to education, research and management practice and is home to approximately 1,000 undergraduate and graduate students. UVM's Master of Accountancy Program hosts about 30 students and has ranked in the top 10% for CPA Pass Rate of US institutions with 10 or more candidates for eight consecutive years. Sustainable business is a strategic theme in the undergraduate program and fully integrated in the school's Sustainable Innovation MBA program, which has been ranked the #1 "Best Green MBA" by Princeton Review for several years.
