This is a non-tenure-track position with the possibility of renewal based on performance and departmental needs. The successful candidate's primary responsibilities will include teaching General Chemistry with the opportunity to contribute to other undergraduate Chemistry courses, depending on departmental needs. The successful applicant will be expected to engage in curriculum development and continuous improvement of instructional materials, as well as provide service to the Department, College, and University. Qualifications Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. or highest-level terminal degree from an accredited institution in Chemistry or Biochemistry (or a closely related field) or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties, with a demonstrated specialty or teaching experience in General Chemistry.
