Job Description

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Assistant Professor of Analytical Chemistry The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistryat Texas Wesleyan University invites applications for a Visiting Faculty position in Chemistry with possible conversion to tenure track tobegin August 2026. Primary teaching responsibilities include courses in Analytical Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis, and ForensicScience as well as opportunities for teaching introductory chemistry and physical science (for non-majors). Other responsibilities includeadvising students, supervising student interns, and service to the University community. Position requirements include a Ph.D. inChemistry or an equivalent field with an emphasis in the areas of Analytical Chemistry. Preference will be given to candidates who havecollege-level teaching experience; especially in the area of Forensic Science.
