POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Assistant Professor of Analytical Chemistry The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Texas Wesleyan University invites applications for a Visiting Faculty position in Chemistry with possible conversion to tenure track to begin August 2026. Primary teaching responsibilities include courses in Analytical Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis, and Forensic Science as well as opportunities for teaching introductory chemistry and physical science (for non-majors). Other responsibilities include advising students, supervising student interns, and service to the University community. Position requirements include a Ph.D. in Chemistry or an equivalent field with an emphasis in the areas of Analytical Chemistry. Preference will be given to candidates who have college-level teaching experience; especially in the area of Forensic Science.
