Job Description
The Head Baseball Coach is responsible for all aspects of the baseball program, including competitive success, recruiting, player development, and program administration, while fostering academic achievement and integrity. This position is a 10-month contract. All SAU Tech employees are expected to demonstrate excellence in interpersonal behaviors and be committed to effective collaboration with colleagues. Primary Responsibilities:
Plan and conduct practices, competitions, and player development activities. Recruit and retain qualified student athletes. Manage program scheduling, travel, and budget oversight. Supervise assistant coaching staff. Ensure compliance with institutional and NJCAA regulations. Promote academic success and personal development of student athletes. Maintain and enhance baseball facilities and equipment. Represent the baseball program positively within the institution and community. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum/Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Masters preferred Prior coaching experience (assistant or head coach) Knowledge of NJCAA rules and athlete development Strong leadership and communication skills
