Dance Team Coach

Big House Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Team Coach to lead and develop our student dance program for the upcoming school year. BHCA is a Christian school , and this role is about more than coaching—it's about discipling students, modeling Christlike leadership, and investing in their spiritual and personal growth through athletics and the arts.

Responsibilities:

Plan and lead structured dance practices Choreograph routines for games, performances, and school events Prepare students for 2 competitions through the Canyon Athletic Association (CAA) Coordinate and lead performances at athletic games and community events Build a team culture rooted in character, discipline, and Christ-centered values Encourage teamwork, confidence, and personal growth Partner with school leadership to support BHCA's mission

Qualifications:

Dance experience (studio, team, or competitive background preferred) Experience working with children or teens Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to commit to scheduled practices, competitions, and events Agreement with and support of BHCA's Christian mission and values A heart for mentoring students both spiritually and personally
