This 5-month position reports to the Athletic Director and is in Phoenix, Arizona. Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Christian concern for athlete's academic, athletic, social and spiritual development
• Initiate, schedule, coordinate, and conduct scheduled practices
• Provide system for issuing athletic equipment to athletes and supervision of such equipment
• Supervise assistant coaches
• Coordinate with the Athletic Director in the management of home contests
• Perform other related duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Excellent organizational abilities, professional written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain a schedule
• Knowledge in the trends of the respective sport
• Available evenings and weekends
• Occasional travel with teams Education and/or Training A bachelor's degree in a related field is required a master's degree is preferred.

Minimum of three years coaching experience; high school coaching experience preferred. Compensation This is a contracted position. Starting range is dependent upon individual qualifications and experience.
