Salary We are seeking a highly qualified, certified, and mission-driven High School Science Teacher who is passionate about academic excellence and student development, while also serving as a key contributor within our Boys Basketball program. This position is designed for an educator first — someone committed to delivering rigorous, engaging Science instruction and building strong relationships with students in the classroom. In addition, we are seeking a basketball coach who understands the importance of being a team player within an established athletic culture. The ideal candidate will fully support and align with our basketball program's mission, vision, core values, standards, and long-term goals while also bringing their own energy, expertise, creativity, and value to continue elevating the program. We are looking for someone who embraces accountability, discipline, teamwork, and excellence — someone who gives 100% every day and is willing to do whatever it takes to positively impact students on and off the court. Primary Responsibilities - Science TeacherCertified Science Instruction Serve as a highly effective and properly certified High School Science Teacher Plan and deliver rigorous, engaging Science instruction aligned to state standards Utilize instructional best practices and data-driven strategies to improve student achievement Create a structured, positive, and academically focused classroom culture Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs Maintain high expectations for academic performance, behavior, and student accountability Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues Collaborate with administration and staff to support school-wide initiatives and goals Participate fully in professional development, campus events, and school culture initiatives Serve as a mentor and role model who promotes character, leadership, and excellence Primary Responsibilities - Boys Basketball CoachProgram Alignment & Team Culture Support and uphold the established mission, vision, core values, expectations, and goals of the Boys Basketball program Operate as a positive, collaborative team player within the athletic department and coaching staff Bring basketball knowledge, expertise, player development ideas, and leadership while maintaining alignment with program direction and culture Build strong relationships with student-athletes while emphasizing accountability, discipline, effort, and character Help continue building a competitive, high-character, and student-centered basketball culture Coaching & Development Assist in planning and conducting organized practices, offseason development, skill work, and team activities Support player development both athletically and personally Reinforce program expectations, standards, and daily habits consistently Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, mental toughness, and leadership development Monitor and support student-athlete academic progress and eligibility Assist with game preparation, team operations, communication, and basketball events Support offseason workouts, camps, community engagement, and program growth initiatives Qualifications Valid Teaching Certification in Science required Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred Highly qualified in assigned Science content area Previous high school Science teaching experience preferred Previous basketball coaching experience required Strong classroom management and instructional skills Ability to build relationships while maintaining high standards and accountability Strong communication, organization, leadership, and collaboration skills Commitment to school culture, athletic culture, and student success Preferred Characteristics We are looking for individuals who: Are certified and passionate educators first Believe culture and relationships matter Thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Are aligned with organizational vision and leadership Can positively contribute to an established basketball program culture Bring professionalism, energy, and consistency daily Value discipline, accountability, and servant leadership Are willing to go above and beyond for students and programs Embody our core values of Team, Win, 100% Everyday, and Whatever It Takes What We Offer Opportunity to make a lasting impact academically and athletically Supportive leadership and collaborative staff culture Opportunity to contribute to a growing and competitive basketball program Professional growth and leadership opportunities A school community committed to excellence, accountability, and student success To Apply Interested candidates should submit: Resume Cover Letter Valid Teaching Certification References We are seeking educators and coaches who are ready to lead with purpose, teach with excellence, invest in relationships, and contribute positively to a strong school and basketball culture every single day.Job Type:
