The ideal candidate will foster athletic excellence, sportsmanship, leadership, faith formation, and positive student-athlete development while building a competitive and mission-aligned basketball program. Position Responsibilities Lead and oversee all aspects of the Girls Basketball program Plan and conduct practices, games, and off-season activities Promote player development, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship Support the academic, emotional, and spiritual growth of student-athletes Maintain positive communication with players, families, school administration, and athletic department staff Ensure compliance with all school, diocesan, conference, and AIA regulations Assist with program promotion, scheduling, supervision, and team management Serve as a positive role model aligned with Catholic school values and expectations Minimum Requirements Applicants must meet the following requirements: NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Course NFHS Concussion in Sports Certification One of the following: NFHS Level I Certification; OR Arizona Coaching Certificate; OR Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card (DPS Card) CPR, First Aid, & AED Certification Valid Driver License with clean driving record Must be at least 25 years old Completion of Diocese of Tucson Safe Environment requirements and training Preferred Qualifications Previous basketball coaching experience at the high school or club level Experience working with female student-athletes Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education Application Information Interested candidates should submit: Resume Letter of interest Coaching and/or teaching certifications References Applications will remain open until the position is filled.
