Job Description
Arizona Mobile Swim is hiring experienced swim instructors for the upcoming swim season. We are currently hiring in Yuma, Arizona . If you enjoy working with kids and want flexible work that truly makes a difference, this may be a great fit. Our instructors help children build confidence in the water while learning essential swimming and water safety skills. Most of our swimmers are infants, toddlers, and young children, so patience, encouragement, and strong communication with families are key. Our program is unique because we travel to the homes of the families we serve. Reliable transportation and comfort with driving is required. Flexible Schedule Make your own schedule. Many of our instructors treat this as a side hustle alongside another job, school, or seasonal work . You set your availability and we schedule lessons around it. Need time off for vacation or summer plans? No problem. We work with your schedule.
Typical lesson times include:
weekday afternoons and evenings weekend mornings Competitive Pay Instructors are paid per lesson and per swimmer taught. Our instructors earn an average of $35 per hour , and many instructors make $1,000+ per week during the summer swim season depending on their availability and lesson load. Cancellation & Weather Pay We understand that outdoor lessons can be unpredictable. Instructors are paid even when clients cancel the same day or weather forces a cancellation , so your time is respected. Focus on Teaching You get to focus on what matters most: teaching swimmers. Arizona Mobile Swim handles the marketing, client communication, payment processing, liability insurance, and business logistics. Scheduling System Instructors receive access to our online booking platform where you can: Set your schedule availability View lesson bookings Manage your appointments This keeps scheduling simple and organized. What You'll Do Teach swim lessons to children of various ages and skill levels Help swimmers build water safety skills and confidence Communicate with parents about swimmer progress Create a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment Represent Arizona Mobile Swim professionally with families Lessons may take place at partner pools or private residential pools depending on the location. Instructor Requirements To become an instructor with Arizona Mobile Swim, you must: Be at least 18 years old Have reliable transportation between lesson locations and be comfortable with a high level of driving Have previous swim lesson or teaching experience Be able to pass a background check or hold a fingerprint clearance card Active WSI, CPR, and lifeguard certifications are not requiredJob Types:
