Nestled in the heart of a scenic public park, Tilden Park Golf Course challenges and inspires golfers of all skill levels with its lush fairways and stunning views. Located just minutes away from Berkeley, Tilden Park Golf Course offers a premier experience to every guest.
Position Summary:
Tilden Park Golf Course is seeking energetic, reliable, and positive individuals to join our Junior Golf Camp team this summer, June-Aug., 2026. Counselors work with children ages 7-16, helping create a fun, safe, and engaging environment while introducing young golfers to the game. This is a great opportunity for students, golfers, or anyone who enjoys working outdoors and mentoring kids.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide a fun and safe learning environment for junior golfers Assist with teaching golf fundamentals, rules, and etiquette Support daily camp activities and group instruction Set up practice areas prior to camp (range balls, clubs, water stations) Assist with equipment organization and end-of-day cleanup Maintain cleanliness of shared equipment and light facility upkeep
Qualifications:
Friendly, responsible, and dependable Comfortable working with children ages 7-16 Strong communication skills with both kids and adults Ability to maintain a fun and professional camp atmosphere Knowledge of golf required High school or collegiate playing experience preferred but not required
Classification:
