Job Description
About us: At The Sunshine Swim Center our mission is to provide our community with swim programs that offer not only the basics of water safety and learn to swim lessons, but cultivate a love for swimming that will last a lifetime. The Sunshine Swim Center is looking for year round Swim Instructors. We aim to promote within and offer training, mentorship and a positive work environment. Swim Instructor responsibilities include but are not limited to: Teaching all levels of swim lessons, group and private Appropriately marking attendance for swimmers Providing accurate information on all of Sunshine Swim and Fitness Center's program Maintaining a clean facility Preparing the facility to open/close each day Reporting to Manager each day Maintain continuous surveillance and head count of people in pool, Supervise swimmers to ensure that they are swimming within the safety protocols Provide safety information Spot hazards or potential hazards and take measures to prevent accidents Control and report unruly behavior Perform rescues in the event of drowning or swimming accidents Perform first aid and CPR according to the demands of adverse situations Perform pool chemical checks before swim event Prepare facility for events' '
