At Watersafe , we "hire the character and train the skill." Experience swimming and/or working with children is a plus, but not required to be hired. We are looking for energetic, motivated, and trustworthy individuals first and foremost. This is a fully trained reserve position designed for instructors who are ready to step into shifts as they become available. Our Instructor Reserve group is made up of fully trained and certified instructors who are prepared to step into permanent schedules as they open. All Instructor Reserve hires complete our comprehensive 4-5 week paid training program Upon certification, instructors may be placed into the Instructor Reserve group if a permanent schedule is not immediately available During this time, specific weekly hours are not guaranteed As instructors change availability or leave the company, shifts are offered to trained Instructor Reserve team members Instructor Reserve team members are eligible to pick up substitute shifts and earn substitute pay while awaiting permanent placement This model allows us to maintain high training standards while ensuring we can quickly fill openings as they arise. Schedules can become available at any time based on business needs.
