Assistant Boys Frosh/Soph Basketball Coach Mira Costa High School Manhattan Beach, CA Job Details Part-time $1,000 a year 14 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Sports coaching Working with high schoolers High school diploma or GED First Aid Certification Full Job Description Mira Costa HS seeks an enthusiastic Assistant Frosh/Soph Boys Basketball Coach for the upcoming 2025-2026 season; beginning with our Summer Program that starts June 15 and ends July 17. The Mira Costa basketball program stresses fundamentals and discipline in an effort to help our boys develop into young men. Since moving into our $40M sports complex in 2021 all levels have had great success and our Varsity is expecting to challenge for another Bay League title. The ideal candidate will have several years of coaching experience at the youth or high school levels. This individual will also have the opportunity to serve as part of the Varsity staff and attend games if they desire. The Frosh/Soph Boys Assistant Coach will work closely with the coaching staff to ensure that the same skills and points of emphasis are stressed program wide.
Time Commitment:
5 days weekly: practices and games (~2 hours per day). During the summer we will play games on weekends. We will be playing in tournaments over Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday breaks. This individual will be paid a $1,000 stipend.
