• 3:00 PM About the Program We are seeking 2 energetic and dependable Youth Rugby Coaches/Instructors to lead youth rugby camps for the City of Milpitas.

Coaches will work with either the 7-9 age group or the 10-12 age group during week-long camp sessions focused on skill development, teamwork, confidence building, and having fun. Participants will engage in exciting drills, games, and skill-building activities while developing their rugby techniques, understanding of the game, and sportsmanship in a positive and encouraging environment. • 3:00 PM What Participants Will Learn Passing Catching Rugby Rules Teamwork Confidence Building Sportsmanship Having FUN while learning rugby Key Responsibilities Lead youth rugby camp activities for assigned age group Teach rugby fundamentals, rules, and safe playing techniques Organize and supervise drills, games, and skill-development activities Create a fun, positive, and engaging learning environment Encourage teamwork, confidence, leadership, and sportsmanship Ensure participant safety during all camp activities Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and participants Assist with setup, cleanup, and organization of camp equipment and activities Help maintain attendance and daily camp structure Qualifications Previous rugby playing or coaching experience preferred Experience working with youth athletes or children preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Positive attitude with the ability to motivate and encourage children Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to lead active group activities in an outdoor or gym setting CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (not required) Live Scan Background Check required Must be able to commute to the Location Must be able to do the entire program so please look at the Dates, Location and Times and able to complete the entire program.
