In this energetic role, you will inspire and develop gymnasts by delivering engaging coaching sessions that enhance their skills, confidence, and love for the sport. You will be a vital part of fostering a positive, disciplined environment where athletes can excel physically and personally. Your passion for gymnastics and dedication to athlete growth will help shape the next generation of champions! Duties Lead structured training sessions for gymnasts at various skill levels, focusing on technique, strength, flexibility, and routines aligned with Level 3 to Level 9, Xcel Gold, and Diamond standards Develop individualized coaching plans that promote skill progression and safety while encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship Monitor athlete performance during practices and competitions, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement Ensure all training activities adhere to safety protocols and proper equipment usage to prevent injuries Foster a motivating environment that emphasizes discipline, respect, and positive behavior management among athletes Collaborate with parents, staff, and other coaches to track athlete progress and address any behavioral or developmental concerns Assist in organizing gymnastics events, competitions, and team activities to promote engagement and community involvement Requirements Proven experience coaching gymnastics at levels 3 through 9 or comparable competitive experience Strong background in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or related disciplines such as martial arts (Karate, Judo), swimming, cheerleading, climbing or basketball Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster discipline while maintaining a positive atmosphere Experience working with children or students in educational or recreational settings Familiarity with safety standards in gymnastics facilities and equipment use Additional skills in Lifeguard certification, childcare, or health club operations are a plus Excellent communication skills to effectively motivate athletes and collaborate with team members USAG membership Join us if you're passionate about empowering young athletes through gymnastics!
