PART-TIME/HOURLY TEAM MEMBERS ELIGIBLE FOR A RAISE AFTER EVERY 60 SHIFTS COMPENSATION
$18.00-$22.00/hour Part-time, hourly SUMMARY Join our dynamic team as a Swim Coach and make a splash in the lives of young swimmers! As a vital member of our coaching staff, you'll work closely with our head coach to develop and implement engaging swim programs for students. From leading practice sessions to providing feedback and encouragement, you'll play a key role in helping swimmers improve their skills and reach their full potential. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable coaching experience, build leadership skills, and make a positive impact in the community. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Assisting students in water with proper stroke techniques Communicate techniques to students clearly and concisely Ensure practices are running according to the Head Swim Coach's plan Set up and tear down swim meets and practices Help assign swimmers to the correct lanes during swim meets Creating a fun and inviting environment for students to learn in Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Must be at least 16 years of age Be able to work Monday through Thursday from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Candidate must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and have a willingness to learn Reliable transportation Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours Ability to obtain and maintain a StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certification Swimming proficiency and feels comfortable in the water Preferred Have prior swim/coaching experience StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certification Benefits
