Assistant Women's Basketball Coach 2 University of California, Riverside - 4.3 Riverside, CA Job Details Full-time $53,100 - $89,700 a year 23 hours ago Qualifications Writing skills Sports coaching Decision making Basketball Full Job Description Under the direction of the Head Coach, the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach 2 is responsible for assisting with all aspects of an NCAA Division I Basketball program, including, but not limited to, the identification and recruitment of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes; supporting the academic progress of student-athletes; preparing and conducting individual and team practices, training, and competition, and representing the sports program as needed in association with promoting and fundraising for Women's Basketball. The full salary range for the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach 2 is $53,100.00 - $89,700.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements degree Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training with a college-level program. Required experience 2 - 4 years of related experience. Required Current knowledge of applicable rules and standards of the affiliated athletic conference, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) or National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), as well as other associations and agencies to which the campus adheres, and, at all times avoid any and all violations of these rules and standards. Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making; be an effective problem solver and effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with athletic participants. Demonstrated effective problem solving and communication skills, verbally and in writing. Specialized knowledge of the team sport or activity, as well as basic technical expertise in coaching principles.
