Upon hire, the following are required before clearance: 1. CPR & First Aid Certification 2. A current TB clearance 3. DOJ and FBI Fingerprint Clearance 4.

Mandatory Online Trainings:

Concussions in Sports, Heat-Illness Prevention for School Athletics, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting 5. At least one of the following Coaching Techniques in the sport being coached: a. Completion of a college course in coaching theory and techniques b. Completion of in-service programs by the district or county office of education. c. Prior service as a student coach or assistant athletic coach d. Prior coaching in community youth athletic programs e. Prior participation in organized athletics a the high school level or above 6. At least one of the following in

Child Psychology:

a. Completion of a college-level course in child psychology for elementary positions and adolescent or sports psychology for secondary positions b. Completion of a seminar or workshop on the growth and development of youth c.
