This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead, motivate, and inspire student-athletes while fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in sports coaching, physical education, and youth development, with a focus on creating a positive and engaging environment for all players. Your leadership will be instrumental in helping students achieve their athletic potential and build lifelong skills. Duties Plan, organize, and lead practices that focus on technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical conditioning specific to soccer. Develop game strategies and provide real-time coaching during matches to maximize team performance. Foster a positive team culture emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect among players. Monitor player progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to support individual growth. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper warm-up routines and injury prevention measures. Communicate effectively with players, parents, school staff, and athletic department personnel regarding team updates and performance. Promote student-athlete well-being by integrating leadership development, behavior management, and character-building into coaching sessions. Skills Proven experience in sports coaching with a focus on soccer; previous experience with youth or high school teams is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of physical education principles and athletic training techniques. Ability to teach and motivate students of varying skill levels while maintaining a positive environment. Experience working with children or adolescents in a childcare or educational setting. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff. Skills in behavior management to foster discipline while encouraging fun and confidence-building among players.
