Youth Sports Coach

Job Overview :

We are seeking a passionate an Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching or teaching and working with children. Leading engaging sports activities, and promoting a safe and positive environment. This is not competitive sports , we are focused on recreational only. We are willing to train the right candidate. This role is seasonal for the Summer. Must be available weekdays 8am-1pm in the Summer Responsibilities Lead high-energy practices, drills, and scrimmages for various sports Create a fun and inclusive environment that encourages participation and teamwork. Teach fundamental skills, sportsmanship, and healthy competition. Manage group behavior and maintain a safe environment for all participants. Communicate effectively with parents and Elevation Athletics staff as needed. Ensure equipment is organized and activity areas are kept clean Various sports including, Flag Football, Soccer, Basketball..ect This is a seasonal role Qualifications Applicants must be 18 years of age or older Ability to work weekday's from 8am-1pm in the Summer Certification CPR / FirstAID (Ability to obtain if not already active) Passion for working with kids and helping them grow through sports Strong communication, ability to command a group of kids for sports Experience playing or coaching youth sports (preferred but not required). Energetic, positive, and reliable personality. Must have reliable transportation to travel to San Jose Region Background check required, including DOJ LiveScan.
