Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching swimming and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swim instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels, fostering a positive learning environment while promoting water safety. Duties Conduct swim lessons for various age groups and skill levels, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and regulations. Develop lesson plans that incorporate swimming techniques, water safety, and personal fitness. Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve their skills. Maintain a clean and safe swimming environment by performing regular checks on pool facilities. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with other staff members to create engaging programs that promote swimming as a lifelong skill. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences: Lifeguard experience is preferred but not required. Background in sports coaching or teaching physical education is highly desirable. Experience working with students in various settings, including childcare or health clubs. Familiarity with martial arts (Karate, Judo) or other sports (Basketball, Cheerleading, Climbing) is a plus. Strong behavior management skills to maintain a positive learning environment. A passion for swimming and promoting physical fitness among participants of all ages.
