This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to foster athletic development, promote teamwork, and instill a passion for sports among student-athletes. The coach will be responsible for planning practices, developing game strategies, and creating a positive, motivating environment that encourages growth both on and off the field. If you have a background in sports coaching, enjoy working with young adults, and are committed to empowering women through athletics, this role is perfect for you! Responsibilities Coach simultaneously with student captains. Design and implement engaging practice sessions that improve skills, teamwork, and game tactics Attend all weekend games Develop strategic game plans and provide real-time coaching during matches to maximize team performance Foster a positive team culture emphasizing sportsmanship, discipline, and personal growth Monitor player progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to support development Ensure all team activities adhere to college policies, safety standards, and WWLL regulations where applicable Promote leadership and teamwork by encouraging student-athletes to support one another both on and off the field Skills Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably with women's lacrosse. Strong background in physical education teaching or athletic instruction Ability to work effectively with student leaders Excellent behavior management skills to foster a respectful and disciplined environment Join us in shaping confident athletes while promoting health, teamwork, and leadership!
