Head Girls Lacrosse Coach (Stipend) at Simi Valley Unified School District Print Application Deadline 5/1/2027 11:55 PM Pacific Date Posted 5/1/2026 Contact Jacqueline Lopez Number of Openings 1 Salary Pay Range $3,580 - $4,771 Stipend Add'l Salary Info $3,580- $4,771 Length of Work Year Seasonal Part-Time Stipend position Employment Type Part Time Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of an assigned administrator, the Head Girls Lacrosse Coach is responsible for planning, directing, and supporting Royal High School's girls Lacrosse program. The Coach oversees year round program development, including athlete skill development, team preparation, and competitive participation at the high school level. The Coach implements safe, developmentally appropriate training; ensures adherence to student behavior, academic, supervision, and safety standards; and maintains compliance with District policies, State requirements, league rules, and CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) regulations governing interscholastic athletics. The Head Girls Lacrosse Coach fosters a positive, inclusive, and sportsmanlike program culture that values athletes as both individuals and competitors, supporting their growth both on and off the field. The position includes collaboration with school administration, the Athletic Department, fellow coaches, students, families, and community partners to promote student connectedness, safety, sportsmanship, and competitive success. Compensation Stipend per the District coaching salary schedule: $3,580- $4,771, based on demonstrated coaching experience. The stipend is paid in one installment upon completion of the season.
Requirements / Qualifications

  • Fundamentals of Coaching
  • Concussion in Sports
  • Heat Illness Prevention
  • Sudden Cardia Arrest Required statewide for interscholastic coaches and widely used across CIF programs.
2.Valid First Aid & CPR certification (Pre Employment Requirement) The coach must possess a current First Aid and CPR certification that meets American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) standards, or equivalent training aligned with ARC/AHA guidelines including an in-person, hands-on CPR skills assessment completed prior to the first day of coaching duties.
  • Required under Cal. Educ. Code 49413 (training must be based on ARC/AHA equivalent standards).
  • ARC guidance states that online only CPR without hands on skills testing does not meet certification requirements.
3.
