Length of Work Year 2026-2027 FALL Employment Type Part Time Job Summary Job Summary A JV head coach for girls tennis leads and develops junior varsity players by teaching fundamental tennis skills, match strategy, and proper technique. They organize practices, coach matches, and help athletes build confidence, sportsmanship, and teamwork while preparing them for potential advancement to the varsity level. The coach also supports student-athletes' personal growth by emphasizing discipline, commitment, and respect both on and off the court.

Requirements / Qualifications

Prior tennis coaching experience at the high school level or higher is preferred, though qualified candidates with comparable experience are encouraged to apply.

(once selected):

• NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching & the CA State Component
• Concussion Certificate
• Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate
• Valid CPR Certificate
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Heat Acclimatization Certificate
• TB test
• Guidelines for the Workplace & Youth Sports Protocol & Recommendations (link will be provided)
• Mandated Reporter (Child Abuse Certificate)
