Stipend Range:
$3,300•$4,500 (commensurate with experience)
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM•4:30 PM Why Coach at Graland? Maximize your afternoon hours before your evening clinic peak times! Graland Country Day School is looking for a passionate Tennis Pro or Coach to co-lead our Middle School tennis program. Based out of the premier Gates Tennis Center, you'll work with a motivated group of 24 students (split into focused groups of 12 per practice/match) to develop their skills, etiquette, and love for the sport.
Primary Responsibilities On-Court Instruction:
Deliver high-energy, engaging practices focusing on stroke mechanics, match strategy, and tennis etiquette.
Match-Day Leadership:
Coach players through approximately 7 competitive matches, teaching them how to compete with grace and integrity.
Logistics & Safety:
Help transport students to the courts and matches using our 14-passenger school bus if needed. Usually not a requirement.
Qualifications The Tennis Professional:
You bring solid experience in tennis instruction (USPTA/PTR certification is a great bonus, though not required) and love breaking down the game for middle schoolers.
The Role Model:
You emphasize sportsmanship and court etiquette as much as a great first serve.
