The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a genuine enthusiasm for educating young athletes. This role involves working closely with students to develop their soccer skills, promote teamwork, and foster a love for the game. The Soccer Coach will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging environment that encourages personal growth and athletic development. Responsibilities Plan and conduct soccer training sessions that cater to various skill levels. Teach fundamental soccer techniques, strategies, and rules of the game. Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect among players. Evaluate players' performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Organize and oversee practice sessions, drills, and scrimmages. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members regarding player progress. Ensure a safe training environment by adhering to safety protocols. Encourage participation in games and tournaments to enhance competitive experience. Experience Previous experience in sports coaching is essential; experience specifically in soccer is preferred. Background in childcare or experience working with students is highly desirable. Experience teaching physical education or working in a gym setting is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate young athletes are crucial for success in this role. Schedule & Availability Training sessions are typically held on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM . Candidates should have flexibility to accommodate occasional schedule adjustments as needed. Availability on Saturdays is required during the season. Coaches may be responsible for supervising and coaching up to three games each Saturday . Join us in shaping the future of young athletes through the beautiful game of soccer!
