Job Description

Durango School District is accepting applications for a Head Ice Hockey Coach for the 2026/2027 season. The season begins July 01, 2026. This position is responsible for all aspects of the Ice Hockey Program at Durango High School, to include but not limited to the following:
  • supervision, mentoring, and assisting in the evaluation of assistant coaches
  • administration of budget
  • team supervision and discipline
  • care and inventory of uniforms and equipment
  • care of facilities
  • effective communication with school administration, players and parents
  • involvement with middle school and community based programs
  • fundraising
  • practice and competition planning
Minimum Qualifications:
