SUMMARY:
Fort Lupton High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head Girls Flag Football Coach for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of coaching experience related to football, specifically in 7-on-7 football or flag football development, and demonstrate a passion for teaching the game while helping student-athletes grow both on and off the field. The Head Coach will be responsible for building and developing the Girls Flag Football program from the ground up during its inaugural years. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of football training and strategy specific to the 7-on-7 format and will work to establish a competitive, positive, and sustainable program culture aligned with CHSAA expectations and the mission of Fort Lupton Athletics. Experience coaching girls 7 on 7 or traditional high school boys football is preferred, but not required. The coach should demonstrate a willingness to invest in offseason training, skill development, community outreach, and long-term athlete growth. The coach is expected to promote a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, accountability, and academic success while ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all student-athletes.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION
Certified/Licensed Teacher preferred Three years of experience in coaching High School Flag Football , Boys or Girls; Head coach experience preferred Personal experience in the sport to be coached preferred Certificate(s), licenses(s) or other legal credential(s) required by the District Safety training in the sport Successful experience in record-keeping and inventory procedures Strong, positive human relations and communication skills Philosophy that encourages individual growth and teamwork Models sportsmanlike behavior at all times

Coaching Assignment is for the 2026/2027 season, as well as off-season activities as applicable. All contracts/agreements for the employment of personnel shall be subject to the approval of the BOE.
