Nov 2, 2026 Job Description Fort Morgan High School Assistant Girls Basketball Coach The Assistant Girls Basketball Coach supports the Head Coach in all aspects of the basketball program, helping to develop student-athletes both on and off the court. Responsibilities include assisting with practice planning and implementation, teaching fundamental basketball skills, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship, supervising athletes during practices and games, and helping with program organization and communication. The assistant coach serves as a positive role model, supports academic success, and helps foster a safe, competitive, and inclusive environment for all student-athletes.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of basketball fundamentals and coaching principles Ability to work effectively with high school student-athletes Strong communication and organizational skills Must meet all district and state coaching certification requirements Previous playing or coaching experience preferred
