Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Swim Instructor to join our team! In this vital role, you will teach swimming skills and water safety to participants of all ages and skill levels. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire confidence in swimmers while ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging environment. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on our community's health and aquatic skills.

• Be at least 16 years of age or older
• Obtain and hold current certification in Professional Rescuer CPR, First Aid and Automated External Defibrillator
• Represent the Southington Community YMCA at all times in a positive manner
• Be thoroughly familiar with the YMCA Aquatic Program, rules, and regulations
• Be willing to continue with YMCA aquatic training
• Be dependable and reliable
• Have good organizational skills Consistently provide friendly courteous assistance exceeding member expectations every day
• Maintain an acceptable level of physical fitness to perform in pool activities
• Be able to participate in class and set examples for participants Join us as a Swim Instructor and help build confidence, promote healthy living, and create memorable aquatic experiences for our community!

Pay:
