Youth Summer Camp - Multi-Sport Instructor (Part-Time)

Join our dynamic summer camp team as a Youth Multi-Sport Instructor and ignite a passion for physical activity and teamwork among young campers! You'll play a vital role in creating memorable summer experiences while promoting health, fitness, and positive behavior. Lead a diverse range of sports activities including basketball, baseball, volleyball etc. Design fun, safe, and age-appropriate sports drills and games that encourage teamwork, skill development, and confidence. Supervise campers during all activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Manage behavior effectively to maintain a positive, inclusive environment that promotes respect and good sportsmanship. Provide basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents. Collaborate with fellow instructors to plan daily schedules and special events that enhance the camp experience. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding camper progress or concerns. Previous experience in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or working with children in a camp or childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong background in sports like basketball, cheerleading, climbing, or gymnastics will be advantageous. Excellent behavior management skills to foster a positive environment for campers of various ages. Ability to lead engaging activities while maintaining safety standards at all times.
