With over two decades of experience, we serve schools, camps, preschools, and community centers across our region, providing high-energy instruction in a professional and supportive environment. Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cheerleading & Theatre Coaches to join our team! In this role, you will lead and motivate children aged 5-11 in cheerleading and theatre activities, fostering their creativity, teamwork, and confidence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while sharing your passion for cheerleading/tumbling and performance arts. Season is September though May, with end of season shows. Classes run Monday - Friday from 2:00.p.m-3:15 p.m. with additional hours following ans possibly on Saturday mornings. Duties Plan and deliver engaging cheerleading routines and theatre performances tailored to children's age groups. We train you on all our material and provide lesson plans. Teach fundamental cheerleading skills such as jumps, stunts, formations, and choreography Teach Drama and musical theater through games, small scenes and dance routines. Manage behavior and promote a positive team environment through effective behavior management strategies Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities. Communicate clearly with parents, guardians, and team members about progress and upcoming events Maintain equipment, supplies, and ensure the cleanliness of activity areas Skills Experience in cheerleading coaching or theatre instruction with a passion for working with children Strong background in instructing children is a plus Demonstrated ability to teach and lead group activities confidently Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct children and collaborate with team members Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster a respectful and disciplined environment
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
