Family Christian Center School (FCCS), Clermont, Florida Position Summary Family Christian Center School (FCCS) is seeking a dedicated, faith-driven, and knowledgeable Head Golf Coach to lead and oversee both the Junior Varsity and Varsity Golf programs. The Head Golf Coach will be responsible for developing student-athletes in the areas of golf fundamentals, sportsmanship, leadership, character, and Christian values while building a competitive and respected golf program. This is a stipend position. Compensation will be determined based on coaching experience, golf background, certifications, and overall qualifications. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Program Leadership Lead all aspects of the JV and Varsity Golf programs. Establish and maintain a positive, Christ-centered team culture. Promote academic success, sportsmanship, leadership, and character development. Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes both on and off the course. Develop a long-term vision for the continued growth of FCCS Golf. Coaching Responsibilities Plan and conduct practices, training sessions, and skill development activities. Teach golf fundamentals, course management, rules, etiquette, and sportsmanship. Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback. Develop individualized improvement plans for student-athletes. Prepare teams for matches, tournaments, and postseason competition. Coordinate lineups and competition strategies. Student-Athlete Development Encourage athletes to excel academically, spiritually, and athletically. Mentor student-athletes through leadership development and personal growth opportunities. Foster teamwork, accountability, and integrity. Administrative Responsibilities Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, administration, and the Athletic Director. Maintain team rosters, attendance records, and eligibility requirements. Assist with scheduling, transportation coordination, uniforms, and equipment management. Attend coaches' meetings and athletic department functions. Ensure compliance with all FCCS Athletic Department policies and league regulations. Safety & Supervision Provide proper supervision at all practices, matches, and team functions. Ensure student-athlete safety at all times. Follow all school safety procedures and emergency action plans. Promote proper golf course etiquette and safety standards. Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of the game of golf and its rules. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to mentor and positively influence student-athletes. Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Family Christian Center School. Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, coaches, and administration. Preferred Qualifications Previous golf coaching experience. Competitive golf playing experience. Experience working with middle school and high school student-athletes. CPR and First Aid Certification preferred. Experience building or growing an athletic program.

Successfully pass a criminal background check prior to employment. Complete all required school and athletic department onboarding requirements. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct consistent with FCCS expectations. Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and Christian standards. Compensation This is a stipend position.
