Assistant Coach - Boys & Girls Varsity Soccer Falcon Recruitment - 4.0 Coral Gables, FL Job Details Part-time Up to $3,000 a year 21 hours ago Qualifications School experience CPR Certification Teamwork Working with athletes Sports team experience Team development Organizational skills Team motivation (leadership skill) Team building Full Job Description We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Assistant Coach to assist our Varsity Soccer program. The ideal candidate will bring strong soccer knowledge, leadership experience, and a clear ability to develop student-athletes both competitively and personally. This role is responsible for building a competitive, disciplined, and positive program culture while developing players' technical ability, tactical understanding, and overall character. The Head Coach will lead all aspects of the varsity program and help establish a long-term vision for sustained success. Key Responsibilities Assist all aspects of the Varsity Soccer program, including practices, game strategy, and player development Design and implement structured, high-quality training sessions focused on technical and tactical growth Develop a competitive team identity built on discipline, accountability, and teamwork Evaluate and monitor player performance with consistent feedback and development plans Coordinate with athletic department staff, trainers, and administration to support student-athlete well-being Manage game-day operations, including lineup decisions, scouting preparation, and adjustments Help support program continuity and alignment with JV/feeder programs Represent the school positively in all athletic and community settings Qualifications Previous coaching experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level (soccer preferred) Strong understanding of soccer tactics, formations, and player development principles Ability to lead, motivate, and develop student-athletes in a structured environment Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to building a positive and competitive team culture CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Preferred (Not Required) Playing experience at collegiate or high competitive club level Experience building or rebuilding a soccer program USSF coaching licenses or equivalent certifications What We Value Discipline and accountability Player development over short-term results Strong culture and leadership Commitment to academic and athletic balance

Up to $3,000.00 per year
