About us Twelfth LLC, based in Miami, is a dynamic youth soccer academy, where we ignite passion for soccer. At Twelfth, we go beyond the pitch through our dedication to igniting mastery in every player. Founded on the principles of inclusivity, skill development, and community, Twelfth stands as a beacon for those seeking more for their soccer development experience. Our programs cater to players of all levels, from beginners taking their first steps to seasoned athletes honing their skills. Twelfth's programs provide a holistic approach to player development with a commitment to fostering technical prowess and social-emotional growth. Our current team is highly talented, has great people skills, is organized and efficient, loves working with youth, and brings positive energy to the work environment. In addition to our highly skilled team, we are looking to bring another layer of quality to our coaching staff. For this position we are looking for people who fit these qualities: Early childhood educator is a major plus Structured and provides stable environment Effective communicator Takes personal responsibility and is reliable Likes working with toddlers and elementary aged students Positive energy Soccer player is a plus but not necessary for ages 3-4 Gentle but firm Commanding and has strong presence but approachable and kind Previous soccer coaching experience Can lead training sessions independently Responsibilities Be an ambassador of Twelfth. Champion our values and reflect our standards in training sessions, be a representation of Twelfth Be a leader of Twelfth. Guide players and inspire all those they work with Be manager of Twelfth where you take initiative and ownership of the sessions you coach Be a teacher of Twelfth. Be an educator to all players you work with and have the ability to follow twelfth curriculums and format for training as well as being able to research, implement, evaluate and recreate coaching methods Be able to assist, lead and observe sessions regardless of program: academy groups, afterschool programs, private sessions, or camps/clinics. Be able to manage and teach players individually or in groups as big as 12 players at a time Learn and implement Twelfth's curriculum Ability to create and upkeep training sessions Be responsible for opening or closing Ensure the safety and well being of every child For afterschool programs, gather children from classroom and return after session or complete pick up and drop off as required Follow proper on site protocol for each location, as prepared and provided by lead coach Conduct and lead fun, positive, full of learning 60 minute session following Twelfth's curriculum Work Schedule Part time hours Available hours between 2pm-7pm Monday through Friday Saturday and Sunday availability on a seasonal basis Physical/ work environment requirements Must have the physical ability to demonstrate with the ability to run, stop, bend, turn (exercise type) Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion Must have the ability to work in an active environment where walking and light jogging is done Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors throughout the year which may include hot or cold temperatures Commitments At Twelfth, every employee is expected to embody our core values.
