About OTH Athletics On The Hop (OTH) Athletics is a competitive youth sports organization based in Central Florida, serving 100+ athletes across volleyball and basketball programs. Our volleyball club competes at a high level across USAV and regional events while emphasizing development, discipline, and character. We are committed to building athletes who strive to get 1% better every day —on and off the court. Position Overview We are seeking passionate and dependable Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches to lead our travel volleyball teams for the upcoming season. Coaches will play a key role in athlete development, team culture, and competitive performance. Key Responsibilities Teach and develop core volleyball skills (serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking) Plan and lead structured, high-energy practices Coach athletes during tournaments and league play Build team chemistry, accountability, and a competitive mindset Communicate effectively with players, parents, and club leadership Ensure athlete safety and maintain a positive training environment Attend all scheduled practices, tournaments, and team events Commitment Expectations 2-3 practices per week (evenings) Weekend tournaments (local + occasional travel) Season runs approximately November-June (varies by team level) Qualifications Prior volleyball coaching or playing experience (club, high school, or college) Strong understanding of volleyball systems and player development Ability to lead and connect with athletes ages 11-18 Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Willingness to complete background check and obtain CPR/First Aid certification Preferred (Not Required) USAV, AAU, or NFHS coaching certification Experience coaching at the club/travel level Bilingual (English/Spanish) Why Join OTH Athletics?
