Full Job Description Job Description:

Jacksonville Classical Academy (JXC) is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Football Coach to help build and grow our developing football program. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new program, with a vision of establishing a strong, competitive program in the coming years. We are looking for an individual committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the field, with a strong emphasis on character, discipline, accountability, and teamwork. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, and passionate about mentoring high school and middle school athletes in a classical education environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with planning and leading daily practices and workouts Support game preparation, film breakdown, and opponent scouting Contribute to player development, skill instruction, and strength/conditioning support Promote a positive, disciplined, and team-first culture Assist with equipment management and program organization Support the Head Coach in all aspects of building the program

Qualifications:

Previous football coaching or playing experience preferred (not required) Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes Commitment to the mission and values of Jacksonville Classical Academy Must meet all school and state requirements for coaching certification and employment

Preferred Traits:

High energy and enthusiasm Strong organizational skills Willingness to help build a program from the ground up Background in strength and conditioning is a plus

Compensation:

Stipend (based on experience and role)

Pay:

$1,500.00 - $2,500.00 per year
