June 8•July 24 ( 33 days•full attendance required ) About Us TRUE Youth Association provides a high-energy, fun, and enriching summer camp experience through sports, arts, games, and field trips. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and memorable environment for youth of all ages. Position Overview We are hiring Summer Sports Coach for Basketball/Volleyball. Coach will lead structured daily activities focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun, engaging camp environment.
Important:
This is a full-summer commitment role . Candidate must be available for all 33 program days . Responsibilities Lead daily drills, games, and skill-building activities in your sport Supervise campers at all times to ensure safety and engagement Create a positive, structured, and inclusive environment Set up and break down equipment daily Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and respectful behavior Participate in staff training and weekly meetings Assist with field trips (1-2 times per week) Communicate effectively with camp leadership Qualifications Experience playing or coaching basketball or volleyball preferred Experience working with youth (camp, school, sports, childcare, etc.) Strong leadership, communication, and group management skills High energy, dependable, and punctual Ability to work outdoors and stay active throughout the day CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Must be available for the full program: June 8•July 24 (no exceptions) What We're Looking For We prioritize candidates who are: Reliable and do not have schedule conflicts Comfortable leading groups of children independently Positive, energetic, and team-oriented Interested in youth development—not just supervision
Pay:
