Our mission:
Swim lessons saves lives . We are seeking dedicated Swim Instructors to join our growing Jacksonville, FL team. The Role As a Swim Instructor, you'll help students build water safety skills, confidence and strong swimming foundations in a fun and supportive environment. Instructor start part time with a combination of weekday morning and afternoon and/or weekend classes depending on availability and program needs, with opportunities for additional hours as enrollment grows. Responsibilities Teach swim lessons to students of all ages and skill levels — from 4 months to adults Follow Hudson Valley Swim's structured lesson plans while maintaining a fun and safe learning environment Track student progress to ensure proper placement and skill advancement Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients and families Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance instructional skills.
Additional opportunities may include:
Administrative support and community marketing Qualifications 2-3 years experience as a Swim Instructor (including with infants and young children) is required Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR Certification(s) preferred (but can be obtained during training) High school diploma or equivalent preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to manage behavior effectively in a group setting. A genuine love for teaching and helping others improve their skills in swimming and water safety skills. Availability for weekday mornings and afternoons and weekend day shifts Compensation $18-20/hour based on experience, certifications, teaching ability, and availability. Why Join Us?
